Steinway Artist/Pianist Robin Spielberg and The Cobblestones Band perform this weekend

On Friday, July 15, 7:30 pm, Steinway Artist/Pianist Robin Spielberg performs Give my Regards to Broadway. On Saturday, July 16, 5:30 pm, Americana/acoustic rock ensemble The Cobblestones performs at Deertrees’ complimentary donor/sponsor party, open to the public. Both events occur at 156 Deertrees Road, Harrison. Deertrees has been serving the Greater Maine region since 1936 offering an eclectic summer season of entertainment, featuring theatrical productions and comedies, family shows, concerts annually from June through early September. First up, on Friday, July 15, beloved pianist/composer and Steinway Artist Robin Spielberg performs, consistently winning the hearts of listeners around the world with her compelling melodies and sensitive piano techniques since debuting her first recording of original solos for piano. A prolific composer, Spielberg has 20 recordings to her credit and appears on over 40 compilations around the world. “From the moment she walks on stage, until the last note gently caresses the room, Spielberg casts a spell on her audience that is palpable, visceral, and spiritual. Better said-after you see her perform, you’ll just feel a whole lot better about the world,” says Bruce Bressack, of Hippo Press New Hampshire. She is a celebrity spokesperson for the American Music Therapy Association. Spielberg’s work with music and wellness has been documented in The new York Times and in segments on LifeTime Live and ABC News. As Spokesperson, she conducts workshops and seminars on the topic of music and healing throughout the U.S. in hospitals, schools, community centers, nursing care facilities and performing arts centers. On Saturday, July 16, Deertrees opens its doors to thank its sponsors and donors at an open-to-the-public thank you party. Southern Maine band The Cobblestones perform an eclectic mix of music from familiar artists and some originals in the Americana realm, specializing in passionate vocals and tight harmonies. Guests are welcome to sing along and dance in Deertrees’ intimate Salt Lick Café cabaret performance stage, and a summer evening of good eats and refreshments plus beer, wine and cocktails for purchase. The thank you party is generously sponsored by Gail Bowen and Jane Curran.
Tickets to Robin Spielberg are $28. All ticket prices include a $2 Heritage Fee that supports the ongoing restoration and improvements of the Historic Deertrees Theatre.
