Imagine blowing out the candles on the James’ 150th birthday cake – what would you wish for? In honor of the James Library & Center for the Arts 150th birthday (the building was dedicated in 1874!), you are cordially invited to attend a birthday bash, and make a wish come true with your bid at the silent Auction of Wishes fundraiser. Embracing its culture of supporting the arts and literature, the evening unfolds with a live painting program with featured Artist Marcia Ballou (her works on exhibit in The James’ gallery through June 15), local “Nightwatching” book author Tracy Sierra, and musical entertainment by pianist Lenny Williams together with singing Executive Director Megan Ward. Truly a multifaceted night of entertainment on the time, all in the name of a great cause!
