A Southeastern Massachusetts’ premier community choral ensemble continues its annual tradition of making joyful music at Christmastime. In the last century, British composers created many beautiful choral pieces commonly used during this festive time of year. Pilgrim Festival Chorus celebrates with four works by giants Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, John Rutter, and the late James Whitbourn. This magnificent concert ushers in the holiday season with the resounding drama of brass, timpani, cello, and flute as accompaniment.
