PATRIOT LEDGER – The third annual Mad Love Music Festival brought local favorites Dalton and the Sheriffs, The Aldous Collins Band, Adam Ezra Group and other musicians to the Jane Carr Amphitheatre on Sunday. Local music lovers gathered for a day of tunes while honoring Dave Jodka, a Scituate musician and father, who died of cancer in 2014.

The festival benefits the Dave Jodka Scholarship for Future Rockers at South Shore Conservatory, which allows students of all backgrounds to experience music as part of a coached rock band at the school.

Local bands, food, drink and other activities brought South Shore families out despite dreary weather on Sunday, and guests got to see the scholarship’s beneficiaries perform in their band, Toast.
