Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual Rising Star Showcase takes place Sunday at Memorial Hall. Joining the orchestra is the Plymouth Children’s Chorus, and Zachary West of Plymouth, this year’s winner of South Shore Conservatory youth concerto competition. West will be the featured player in Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. An instrument demonstration takes place at 2 p.m. and the concert begins at 3. The concert is part of the Orchestras Feeding America national food drive, and audience members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Food Warehouse of Greater Plymouth.
